Best Hotels for Families in Las Vegas

Published by in Uncategorized on June 28th, 2010 | Comments Off

Though Strip Clubs in Las Vegas presents itself as a playground for adults, there are many activities in the city that are appropriate for children. In fact, Strip Clubs in Las Vegas is actually much more family friendly than many people believe it to be. Planning the perfect vacation, though, can often hinge on staying in the place best for everyone in the traveling party, and in Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, there are definitely some hotels that are better for families than others.

Keep in mind that you’ll be able to book a variety of sizes and styles of rooms, regardless of where you stay, so the key to finding accommodations for the family is to choose one where kid-friendly entertainment isn’t too far away. If you’ll be traveling with kids, here are some hotels that are particularly welcoming to families.

Circus Circus

The most obvious choice for families staying on the Strip is Circus Circus. Located on the northern end of Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Boulevard, Circus Circus is a bit aged when it comes to the rooms, but this hotel is known for its value. Children 17 and under stay free with an adult. In addition to standard hotel rooms, there is an RV park run by KOA on site, which has 399 spaces.

Circus Circus itself is known for its family friendly entertainment, which truly is unmatched on the Strip. The Adventuredome, a five-acre indoor theme park, is packed with rides, carnival games, family activities and free clown shows. Rides range from a double-corkscrew roller coaster and a log flume with a 60-foot drop to gentle carnival rides fun for the smaller ones in the family. Enjoy mini golfing, rock climbing and laser tag as well.

Throughout the summer, the Adventuredome is open from 10:00 a.m.-midnight. During the school year, the theme park closes earlier in the evening. During the month of October, the Adventuredome is decorated for Halloween and is known as the Fright Dome. Ride prices range from $4.00-$7.00, depending on the category of the ride. If you plan on riding more than a few rides, consider purchasing an all-day ride pass.

In addition to the Adventuredome, families will be entertained by the free circus act, which is billed as the world’s largest permanent circus. There is a free performance every day at 11:00 a.m. on the center stage of the Carnival Midway. Acts include juggling, acrobatics, flying trapeze, aerial gymnastics and contortionists. You’ll also find more than 200 classic and new carnival and arcade games here.

Excalibur

Known for its laid-back, fun vibe, Excalibur’s unpretentious atmosphere is perfect for families with high-energy kids. Children 12 and under stay free with an adult. Rooms are affordable and dining is generally a casual affair here.

Fantasy Faire, the resort’s midway, is in expansive area composed of arcade, video and carnival games as well as 4D rides and a laser maze. The midway is open Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-midnight and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 a.m. The resort’s pool is open daily from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and is free to both guests and non-guests. It consists of four pools, including an 18+ pool and one with water slides.

Excalibur also hosts the Tournament of Kings, a jousting dinner show complete with invading armies, dancing maidens and fireworks. Tournament of Kings can be seen Monday through Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

It is also worth noting that Excalibur is located within walking distance of Showcase Mall, which houses Gameworks, M&M’s World and an extensive food court.

MGM Grand

Though MGM Grand is not as inexpensive as other family-friendly hotels on the Strip, there are amenities in the resort that do cater to those with kids. The Lion Habitat at MGM Grand can be fun to watch (depending on whether the lions are awake and roaming around or snoozing). From 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. daily, visitors to the resort can view the resort’s lions, which stay in a multi-angle viewing enclosure during the day.

At mealtime, consider taking the family to the Rainforest Cafe. This national chain has a fun, colorful atmosphere with tropical fish and birds throughout the restaurant. After dinner, consider catching KA, a plot-driven Cirque du Soleil show. Younger children will enjoy the circus elements of the show while adults will appreciate the story line, music and theatrical components.

MGM Grand is also conveniently located near other family friendly activities on the Strip. It is next door to Showcase Mall, which houses Gameworks, M&M’s World and an extensive food court. New York New York, with its roller coaster and several grab-and-go dining options, is right across the street.

Children 12 and under stay free with an adult.

New York New York

New York New York is a reasonably priced hotel with rooms starting at about $60 per night for a midweek stay. Its atmosphere is fun and inviting, with “streets” through Greenwich Village that lead past pizza joints and ice cream parlors.

If there’s one thing that New York New York is known for, it’s the roller coaster, which drops at 144 feet at one point and reaches speeds up to 67 MPH. Riders must be at least 54 inches to ride, so this isn’t something for the smallest members of the family, but older kids will enjoy the adrenaline rush.

New York New York is located across the street from Showcase Mall, which houses Gameworks, M&M’s World and an extensive food court. MGM Grand, home to The Lion Habitat, is located next to Showcase Mall.

Station Casinos

A hotel and casino chain in Strip Clubs in Las Vegas known as Station Casinos has no properties on the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip, but if you have a rental car, you might consider staying in one for the family friendly atmosphere. The Station Casinos are reasonably priced. Most are older than several of the well-known resorts on the Strip, so rooms are a little rough around the edges, but if you don’t mind a short drive and aren’t planning on spending all your time in your room anyway, this may be the ideal match for your family.

The Station Casinos are generally known as the locals’ casinos, and it’s no wonder why: Families come for the bowling alleys and arcades and teenagers like the movie theaters. In addition to standard bowling, the bowling centers offer cosmic bowling. The movie theaters are run by Regal Cinemas and Century Theatres and have state-of-the-art surround sound and 3D technology. Fiesta Rancho even has an ice skating rink!

Five of the Station Casinos (Santa Fe Station, Boulder Station, Sunset Station, Texas Station and Red Rock Casino Resort Spa) have Kids Quest centers. These centers are professionally supervised entertainment settings for children six weeks to 12 years old. They include arts and crafts, indoor playgrounds, tiny tot rooms and interactive, kid-friendly technology. Kids Quest locations are open seven days a week, including evenings, at an hourly rate.

There are several hotels in the Station Casinos chain, so check the amenities to ensure what you are getting is what you are looking for in an accommodation. Policies vary regarding how old children have to be in order to stay free with an adult; check with your hotel when booking.

The Orleans

The Orleans is located at 4500 West Tropicana Avenue, just a few minutes from the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip. Rooms are affordable for families, and children 13 and under stay free with an adult. A complimentary shuttle runs between The Orleans and its sister property, the Gold Coast, to Bill’s Gambling Hall on the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip every 30 minutes.

One of this resort’s most appealing features to families is an 18-screen movie theater. The bowling center at The Orleans is frequently voted the best in the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Valley. It features 70 lanes, a fast food snack bar and a video arcade.

The Orleans is also home to Kids Tyme, a professionally supervised play area for children ages three through 12. A multi-level jungle gym, coin-free arcade room, interactive play stations, a movie room and an arts and crafts station are among the highlights.

Spearmint Rhino Strip Clubs in Las Vegas

Well, it does not get much better than this Las Vegas gentlemens club. Went to Spearment Rhino on a weekday night during my convention. The place was packed with gorgeous girls of every stripe. In general, my time at the Spearmint Rhino met all of my expectations. The women were incredibly sexy and phenomenal lap dancers. In essence that’s all I was looking for. Everywhere you look and turn there is Las Vegas strippers. And not just your normal naked woman, but an incredibly hot one.

Connect with Las Vegas Locals on BootsnAll Travelers Connect

Published by in Uncategorized on June 22nd, 2010 | Comments Off

Though we make an effort to keep Strip Clubs in Las Vegas travelers up-to-date on the latest information about traveling to Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, there are some things you can only really learn about or understand through personal contact. Say, for example, that you’re traveling with a small child and teenager; what Strip Clubs in Las Vegas hotel can you stay in that accommodates both of their needs? You might feel more confident in booking a room after talking to a parent who had been in a similar situation.

Or maybe you’re looking for a fun pool club to visit your first time in the city. Here at WhyGo Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, we can give you a rundown of Sin City’s pool clubs, but if you’re looking for more information, it’s sometimes best to ask someone directly about the nitty-gritty details: Does the pool serve a certain kind of beer? How early do I have to arrive to get a lounge chair? Where is the best place to sit so I’m not too far from the action but can still relax?

This is where BootsnAll Travelers Connect comes in. This new Facebook app allows you to connect with people who are locals to your travel destination. These are the people who can really dig in, help answer your questions and give advice (and if they don’t know the answers, they probably know someone who can help). The app also let’s you arrange meet ups with other travelers who will be in the area when you are. Even if you’re a seasoned traveler, it can ease the stress if you know there will be someone waiting on the other side ready to share a cab or catch a cup of coffee.

How does it work? It’s actually pretty easy. Login to your Facebook account and create a profile that notes where you’ll be traveling in upcoming months. Find locals in those destinations and start chatting. (Yep, I’m one of the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas locals … look me up before you visit!)

While you’re on Facebook, we invite you to “like” WhyGo Strip Clubs in Las Vegas as well.

Outdoor Activities Near Las Vegas

Published by in Uncategorized on June 21st, 2010 | Comments Off

Many people travel to Sin City expecting bright lights, jingling slot machines, all-night parties, crowded pool clubs and world-class dining experiences. Indeed, Strip Clubs in Las Vegas is all of this and more … within the city limits. People are often surprised to discover that Strip Clubs in Las Vegas is situated near many national parks and natural wonders, making it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts as well.

If you’re tired of the air conditioning and lack of windows on the Strip and want to venture beyond the neon lights, here are a few things you can do to get outside near Strip Clubs in Las Vegas.

ROCK CLIMBING AND BOULDERING

Climbers from around the world come to the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Valley for the rock climbing and bouldering opportunities. Red Rock Canyon, located approximately 20 minutes from the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip by car, is known for its steep, moderate routes and technically challenging longer routes. A variety of cracks, pitches and edges without the crowds and noise of other popular climbing areas also make this a popular place to climb. There are bolted anchors on the most popular climbs, and many guidebooks have been written for those who’d like to find the less visited routes.

Many of the hiking trails in Red Rock Canyon also require some rock scrambling, which appeals to people who enjoy bouldering. Though there aren’t documented problems on all of the park’s rocks, you’ll undoubtedly find some technically challenging ways to climb them.

If you’re up for a long day trip or a two-day excursion away from Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, consider driving up to Zion National Park in southern Utah (approximately a 160-mile drive). Known for its slot canyons and stunning beauty, Zion offers plentiful opportunities for experienced climbers to wind their way up and down the park’s canyon walls. There are also two bouldering sites in Zion: the Bunny Hop Boulder and Drilled Pocket Boulder. The popular backcountry Subway trail also requires some rock scrambling.

Joshua Tree National Park, which has countless bouldering opportunities, is also within driving distance of Strip Clubs in Las Vegas. Located about 220 miles from the city in southern California, Joshua Tree is littered with interesting and challenging bouldering problems, many of which have been documented in climbing guides.

Those interested in rock climbing or bouldering can rent crash pads and shoes from Red Rock Climbing Center in Strip Clubs in Las Vegas.

HORSEBACK RIDING

With all of the bright lights and architectural wonders packed onto the Strip, it can be easy to forget that outside Strip Clubs in Las Vegas’ city limits, this area is still very much like the Wild West. With this in mind, grab your cowboy hat and sign up for one of the many horseback riding tours available in the area. Red Rock Canyon is a hot spot for horseback riding (and you may also see wild horses as well); rides generally range from one hour to half a day. If you prefer a cooler locale, consider horseback riding on Mt. Charleston; at nearly 12,000 feet at its highest point, it is often 20 to 30 degrees cooler than the city.

If you’d like to venture farther out of Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, there are many places in northern Arizona and in southern Utah that offer horseback riding tours as well. A quick internet search brings up many outfitters also willing to take visitors through the Grand Canyon (275 miles), Zion and Bryce Canyon (260 miles) National Parks on horseback.

HIKING

The options for hiking around Strip Clubs in Las Vegas are plentiful and range from short, easy trails to long, strenuous and hard-to-navigate treks. Located 55 miles northeast of Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, Valley of Fire State Park gets its name from the red sandstone formations, and the trails that cross this park include scenic loop trails and one that leads to examples of ancient Indian rock art.

Many visitors and locals also visit Red Rock Canyon for the hiking, which includes short, half-mile interpretive trails to longer, more strenuous trails requiring rock scrambling. Several of the hikes wind back into slot canyons or to seasonal lakes or springs.

If you’re up for a day trip or an overnight stay away from Strip Clubs in Las Vegas, there are numerous national parks within driving distance, all of which offer interesting hiking trails that accentuate the desert landscape. Joshua Tree and Death Valley (140 miles) National Parks have trails that are exposed to the elements, while Zion and Bryce National Parks offer hikes shielded from the sun in canyons and under sporadic tree cover. There is also lots of hiking on both the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon, though you’ll need a backcountry permit if you’d like to hike into and stay the night in the canyon.

CYCLING

Though Strip Clubs in Las Vegas is admittedly not a particularly friendly bike town, there are places to cycle, and there is an active group of bicyclists in the city. It’s not uncommon to find cyclists by the dozens on Charleston Avenue heading west out of the city toward Red Rock Canyon. The 13-mile scenic loop through the conservation area is hilly and technically challenging, and many cyclists use this terrain for training. They also train on some of the trails located on Mt. Charleston.

There is a section of the Railroad Tunnel Trail, located between Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Hoover Dam, that is popular with recreational cyclists as well. It is approximately five miles out and back along the lake and passes through five tunnels.

Several bike shops offer road, mountain and hybrid bike rental in Strip Clubs in Las Vegas. A quick internet search brings up many options.

MOTORCYCLE RIDING

The desert scenery, year-round sunny weather and wide-open spaces surrounding Strip Clubs in Las Vegas are immensely popular with motorcyclists. Again, the 13-mile scenic loop around Red Rock Canyon is a hot spot, but so are day trips through Valley of Fire, around Lake Mead and along the scenic roads leading to the Grand Canyon.

If you like to ride in a group, rub elbows with other motorcycle enthusiasts at the Harley-Davidson Cafe on Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Boulevard, and you’ll likely find other people interested in taking a day trip. Motorcycle rental is found throughout the city. It is Nevada law that all motorcyclists must wear a helmet.

SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING

It’s hard to believe that just 35 minutes from the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip is a popular ski resort. Several hundred feet of snow drop on Mt. Charleston every winter. Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort is located here and has 11 trails for skiers and snowboarders of varying skill levels. Beginners can sign up for ski lessons as well.

Depending on the weather, the ski lodge is generally open from October to May. Skis and snowboards are available for daily rental.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Though the Strip Clubs in Las Vegas Strip offers numerous opportunities for fun and interesting photography, the natural setting outside the city limits is also worth catching on camera. The red sandstone, brilliantly colored flowers and stunning sunsets are just a few of the highlights of the desert landscape that photographers will want to capture. Come in the spring for blooming cacti, and, in the summer, get up before the sun rises to catch wildlife in action.

Because Strip Clubs in Las Vegas sits in a valley and the only truly elevated part of the city is the Strip, there are numerous places on the surrounding mountains where photographers can go at night to catch the skyline lit up in all its Vegas glory.
